The competitions were organized in the water area near one of the main sailing centers of the country – federal state budget-financed organization Yug.
The traditional Dragon class regatta - Paul&Shark Dragon Cup – finished dramatically on the 25th of March in the Italian San Remo. According to the results of the competition, despite the loss of a mast, the team of Dmitriy Samokhin – current Champion of Russia, racing under the pennant of Saint Petersburg Yacht Club, took the second place.
The renewed team of Saint Petersburg Yacht Club and Sailing Academy made a successful debut in the National Sailing League. According to the results of the first phase, which took place in Sochi on March 22-25, Anna Basalkina's team finished sixth.
In 2018, Gazprom and Nord Stream AG will continue its broad support to the sport of sailing. Apart from the regular Baltic offshore Nord Stream Race, the companies will again join forces with the National sailing leagues of Russia and five Northern European countries.
